Replica3D Terms of Use

1. Eligibility and supervision

You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for a minor’s use, purchases, object scanning, file sharing, printer and tool access, and compliance with applicable law. 3D printers, hot surfaces, moving machinery, resins, fumes, tools, and small parts require appropriate adult supervision and safety precautions.

2. License and supported devices

Kenersoft grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Replica3D for lawful personal or internal business purposes on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s usage rules.

Scanning requires an iPhone that reports support for ARKit scene reconstruction and any additional Apple capture capability used by a feature. Marketing model lists are not a guarantee of runtime support. Features can vary by device, iOS version, available storage, memory, thermal state, and sensor conditions.

3. Your scans, ownership, and lawful use

As between you and Kenersoft, you retain your rights in the scans, models, repair recipes, and exports you create. They remain on your phone unless you choose to share or export them. You are solely responsible for deciding where exported files go and for the terms of any receiving app, cloud service, person, slicer, or printer.

You may scan and reproduce only objects, designs, trademarks, artworks, people, private spaces, cultural property, controlled items, and other material that you own or have lawful permission to capture, copy, modify, manufacture, possess, and share. Replica3D does not grant intellectual-property, publicity, privacy, export-control, weapons, product-safety, or other legal rights. You are responsible for local laws and third-party rights.

4. Measurement and reconstruction limitations

Replica3D is not a metrology instrument and does not guarantee an exact duplicate, tolerance, fit, volume, watertight model, manifold model, or successful reconstruction. Results vary with device, calibration, object size, range, lighting, motion, capture coverage, surface material, transparency, reflection, darkness, thin or soft features, background geometry, fusion, crop, and repair choices.

Automatic and adjustable repair can add, remove, smooth, cut, offset, or simplify geometry. Review the before/after preview, reported dimensions, repair changes, mesh warnings, and the sliced model. Do not use Replica3D as the sole basis for a safety-critical, structural, load-bearing, medical, food-contact, protective, regulated, interoperable, or precision-fit part.

5. Printing, materials, and third-party tools

Replica3D exports geometry in formats intended for compatible slicers; it does not generate printer G-code or directly control a printer. Bambu Studio and other slicers, printers, firmware, materials, and sharing destinations are independent third-party products with their own terms and safety instructions.

You are responsible for orientation, supports, scale confirmation, wall count, infill, shell and drain design, printer settings, material selection, ventilation, machine maintenance, supervision, inspection, testing, and safe use or disposal of every print. A “print ready” status reports bounded geometry checks; it is not a safety or fitness certification.

6. Export subscriptions

Replica3D may allow scanning and local preview before offering a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription to unlock model export. The localized price, billing period, and terms appear in Apple’s purchase sheet before confirmation. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings. Apple processes payment, renewal, cancellation, restoration, and refund requests under its policies. Use Restore Purchases when an active subscription is not recognized on a device using the purchasing Apple ID.

Export remains available only while the subscription entitlement is active. A subscription does not include cloud storage, printer hardware, slicer software, material, guaranteed future formats, or a guarantee that every scan can be made printable.

7. Acceptable use

You may not:

• circumvent purchase, entitlement, platform, security, or supported-device controls;
• reverse engineer or redistribute Replica3D except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• scan a person, private place, protected object, or confidential material without required knowledge and consent;
• use Replica3D to violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, weapons, export-control, product-safety, or other law; or
• use a generated part where failure could foreseeably cause death, personal injury, environmental harm, or major property damage without qualified independent design, validation, and certification.

8. Privacy and optional diagnostics

Product processing remains on your phone as described in the Privacy Policy. Optional Firebase crash and performance diagnostics are controlled separately and do not include scan or model content. Apple and any export destination you choose operate under their own terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, Replica3D is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, measurement accuracy, model completeness, printer compatibility, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Mandatory consumer warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kenersoft is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or losses arising from a failed or inaccurate scan, repair or scale decision, corrupted or lost local project, shared file, slicer or printer behavior, material choice, print failure, third-party rights, or unsafe use of a model or physical part. These limitations do not exclude liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit.

11. Apple terms, changes, governing law, and contact

Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the iOS application where applicable. We may update these Terms as Replica3D changes and will post the revised effective date. These Terms are governed by applicable United States law without overriding mandatory consumer protections where you live. Questions can be sent to contact@kenersoft.com.
